Birmingham - More than 100 service industry jobs will soon be available in Birmingham with the opening of a new restaurant.
Grille 29 is scheduled to open in October in the old McCormick & Schmick's building in the Brookwood Village shopping center.
Orlando-based Restaurant Partners, Inc. will host the job fair on August 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. inside Brookwood Mall, next to the second level entrance to Macy's. Open positions include professional servers, hosts, server assistants, line chefs, prep and pastry chefs and bartenders.
"Our upscale, casual restaurant is looking for restaurant industry professionals who want to further their career with a proven national company," Troy Goldman, Director of Operations for Restaurant Partners, Inc. "We are looking for friendly professionals who go above and beyond with our guests, providing them with the absolute best experience at Grille 29."
This will be the second Grille 29 to open in Alabama. There is already one in Huntsville.
