*FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: Scattered afternoon and evening storms Tuesday, some could be severe with damaging wind gusts and hail
*Afternoon Storms Wednesday, Gorgeous Thursday

*Tropical-like rainfall could again affect us by Sunday and Memorial Day

TUESDAY: FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: Mostly cloudy with a shower possible in the morning.  Dry midday and early afternoon with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing during the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could turn severe with damaging wind gusts and hail possible. Best chance for Richmond between 4pm and 8pm. Highs in the mid 80s. (Rain Chance: 60%)

7am: Mostly Cloudy, 67°, 20% Rain Chance

Noon: Partly Sunny, 80°, 20% Rain Chance

4pm: Partly Sunny, Scattered Showers & Storms, 85°, 60% Rain Chance

WEDNESDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Drying out early evening.  Lows in the upper 60s, highs in the mid 80s. (Rain Chance: 30%)

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny. Lows in the low 60s, highs in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny, hot and noticeably more humid with a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm by late afternoon and evening. Lows in the mid 60s, highs in the upper 80s. (PM Rain Chance: 20%)

SUNDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Lows near 70°, highs in the mid 80s. (Rain Chance: 40%)

Note on late weekend weather>> a POTENTIAL tropical system affecting the Deep South by the weekend COULD have associated moisture pulled northward into our region beginning late Sunday, then through Monday and perhaps Tuesday. Rainfall from this set-up would bring the possibility of another period of prolonged heavy showers.

MEMORIAL DAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered downpours and embedded thunderstorms likely. Tropical moisture could result in yet another heavy rain event. Lows in the upper 60s, highs in upper 70s. (Rain Chance: 60%) Still a week away, but will need to monitor
