1 killed, 1 injured in Birmingham house fire; More at 5 a.m.

We are covering a couple of fires this morning.  One involving a house, the other a car.  One man was killed and another was injured in an overnight Birmingham fire in the 1400 block of Trilby Street. 

Authorities are looking for a man who was shot at by a Munford Police officer after a chase. The suspect was wanted on outstanding felony warrant, and the truck he was driving was reported stolen from Gulf Shores.

The heat advisory continues today as the "feels-like" temperatures will once again reach triple digits!  Mickey will tell you if any relief is in sight.

While the governor is calling for our National Guard to be armed, armed citizens are standing guard at various military recruiting areas.

The U.S. Women's National Soccer Team will play in Birmingham soon.  The official announcement is later today, but we'll discuss it with a soccer expert at 6:25 a.m. 

More drama in Fairfield where city workers are wondering if they'll get paid on Friday.
