Birmingham PD investigating fatal shooting

Police are investigating a fatal, early morning shooting on 47th Street Ensley.

Extremely hot temperatures once again today.  Mickey will tell us about the triple-digit "feels-like" conditions you'll be dealing with starting early today.

Gov. Robert Bentley is moving ahead with plans to arm Alabama's National Guard.  We'll talk with him live at 7 a.m. about the move.

The former director of the FBI-Birmingham Division, Rick Schwein will join us at 7:30-AM.  He's also an expert on counter-terrorism and will offer his analysis on the Chattanooga shooting.

Montgomery Police arrest a 14-year-old for shooting a gun into the air at the Biscuits baseball game fireworks show.

The search continues for Demarcus Lamar Means.
He's the man linked to the murder of Shelby County woman Haleigh Green.

Breaking overnight - Jefferson County police are searching for David Lee Galbreath. He's accused of making threats and attempted arson.

Also happening now - investigators are searching for a man accused of robbing the Chevron on Alabama 75.
