Mickey: The hottest weekend so far - WBRC FOX6 News - Birmingham, AL

Here comes the hottest weekend we've had so far this year. Expect highs in the upper 90s and "feels like" temps above 105 degrees.

A heat advisory is posted from noon Friday until 1 a.m. Sunday, and Mickey says he would be surprised if the National Weather Service doesn't issue a heat advisory for Sunday afternoon into Monday as well.

Rain chances are pretty low through the weekend, so Mickey says he wouldn't count on a shower to cool you off in the afternoon.

It's not until midweek next week that we’ll see slightly cooler air along with a slightly higher chance of rain.
