The thrill of victory for the women’s USA soccer team is still felt after a triumphant win over Japan for the World Cup Championship. The big win is being felt locally by young women attending a special training session in Birmingham. It turns out one of the coaches involved also coached Carli Lloyd, the star of last night’s game. We’ll talk to that coach coming up on FOX6 News at 5.

Cab driver shot

A cab driver is recovering tonight after being shot before dawn this morning. We’ll have the latest on his condition and the investigation to find the shooter.

What killed Beau Miles?

This is the question investigators are trying to answer after finding the body of Beau Miles in the Black Warrior River this weekend. The young man had been missing for a week. We’ll talk to investigators.
