Good evening from the FOX6 Newsroom! This is Jonathan Hardison with a look at some of our stories for tonight:

Protecting students' privacy

Remember the Tuscaloosa City student filmed on a cellphone while using the bathroom at school a few months ago? That controversy is helping create a new task force within Tuscaloosa City Schools to teach students how to protect themselves from these kind of intrusions. Josh Gauntt is taking us inside the lessons these students will be learning tonight on FOX6 News at 9.

Officers accused of being in a hate group

And we've been digging for new information on the two Anniston police officers on administrative leave after being accused of being members of a hate group and tonight we've got the first reaction from an elected official. An Anniston City Councilman is talking to FOX6 News at 10 about how this may affect the city's image and the future of these officers.

Those stories and more beginning at 9 on FOX6 News. I hope you'll watch us on air, online at MyFoxAl.com or in the WBRC News app by clicking "Live Newscasts."
