Will B'ham make good on UAB pledge?

Last week the Birmingham City Council passed a resolution promising $2.5 million to UAB football. But today city counselors are debating whether to keep the pledge. Will they show UAB the money? We'll put that question to council members.

Big backup on I-65

on I-65 Northbound near Calera this afternoon. Two 18 wheelers were involved in a wreck. Drivers are advised to avoid the wreck by getting off on exit 231 and getting back on the interstate at exit 238. We'll have the latest on the situation at 5:00.

Talladega woman killed in Afghanistan
