Birmingham apartment fire
at the Chalet Apartments on Birmingham's Southside has left a number of families with no home tonight. The fire broke out about 3 p.m. and required a large number of firefighters to bring it under control. We are working now to learn more about what caused the fire. We'll have the latest on FOX6 News at 5.
Domestic fight lands couple in jail
A Bessemer couple ended up behind bars today after a domestic fight. According to police a woman was hit by her boyfriend and then she retaliated by cutting him on the face.
Memorial Day ceremonies
We've been following a number of ceremonies marking Memorial Day and the sacrifices made by those who fought for freedom. One of those ceremonies involved flying an American flag in the North Sherman Heights community that once flew over the U.S. Capitol. We'll have the story behind this special flag.
