Mistrial in capital murder case

A hung jury led to a mistrial in the murder trial of Patrick Johnson, the man accused of killing Birmingham Police Officer Keary Hollis. What happens now? Melanie Posey will have the full story on FOX6 News at 5.

Father accused of attempted murder

Rafael Powell is charged with six counts of attempted murder after Birmingham Police say he shot into a car with his ex-girlfriend inside along with three children and two other adults. One of the children is Powell's child. Police say Powell ran away but was later taken into custody. Alan Collins has more on the disturbing case at 5.

3 juveniles wreck stolen car

Birmingham Police say three juveniles - two aged 15 and one 16 - were in a stolen automobile that wrecked after a police chase. It happened just before noon. All three are being treated for injuries and are in custody.
