Possible chicken pox outbreak hits Blount Co. school and Birmingham gets ready for the WBC Heavyweight Title fight

Chicken pox outbreak?

There is a possible breakout of chicken pox among school children in Blount County. About 30 students are showing signs of a rash similar to chicken pox even though most of the kids have been immunized against it. We'll have the latest on the investigation on FOX6 News at 5.

Deontay Wilder fight announced

It's official. Birmingham will host the WBC Heavyweight Title fight June 13. Alabama native Deontay Wilder will face heavyweight contender Eric Molina. We'll take a look at ticket sales.

Regions Tradition Golf Tournament

The Regions Tradition Gold Tournament is set for a big weekend. We'll have live reports throughout our newscasts today along with a special beginning at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
