Happy Friday!

Happy Friday!

Greetings from the desk of Jonathan Hardison! Happy Friday to those of you wrapping up your work week. Here are some of the stories we're working on for you tonight.

Virtual reality therapy

Could virtual reality help you overcome trauma from a real-life situation? A researcher in Tuscaloosa hopes so and our Josh Gauntt slipped the goggles on tonight to test this system out firsthand. He'll take you inside the simulator on FOX6 News at 9.

Man's disappearance leads to shocking discovery

And if you believe in silver linings or divine intervention have we got an example for you tonight. Megan Hayes is talking to the family of that 75-year-old man who was reported missing earlier this week and was found in Mississippi. Because he disappeared, his family made him go to the doctor and that's when they discovered a softball-sized tumor on his brain! Megan has this incredible story tonight on FOX6 News at 10.

I hope you'll join us for these stories and more beginning at 9. Watch us on air, online at MyFoxAl.com or through the WBRC News app by clicking "Live Newscasts."
