Lipscomb council president speaks out

What in the world is going on in Lipscomb? That's what we're asking the city council president tonight after a day that saw the city's mayor give us his side of the story after a scuffle with his police chief Friday landed him in jail. Sherea Harris is trying to sort out the mess in Lipscomb you can follow her @ShereaHarris for live updates and she'll piece it all together for us starting on Fox6 News at 9.

Community on alert

And folks in Sylacauga are understandably worried tonight because they city that rarely sees a murder case has had two in the past week. The city's police chief is talking to homeowners and the chief's number one request is for help from the community to solve these crimes. Follow our John Huddleston @Fox6John and he'll have that plea from the chief tonight on Fox6 News at 10.
