Bonfire turns deadly, Nick Saban addresses player dismissals and a viral Facebook apology

Chilton County bonfire death

A tragic accident has claimed the life of a young man in Chilton County. Michael Fallin died after being badly burned. Witnesses say he was pouring gas on a bonfire when the gas can exploded. We'll have more on what led to the accident tonight on FOX6 News at 5.

Football players in trouble

Two University of Alabama football players are in trouble with the law in unrelated cases. Jonathan Taylor has been dismissed from the team after being accused of domestic abuse. Another player, Geno Smith, was arrested for DUI. Coach Nick Saban is expected to address the media late this afternoon. We'll have the latest on FOX6 News at 5.

Facebook apology

A mom in Bessemer is using Facebook to apologize for her child's rudeness in a movie theater. We'll tell you why she felt it was so important to do so.
