Disturbing testimony

We're hearing more disturbing testimony today in the murder trial of Joyce Garrard, the Etowah County woman accused of running her granddaughter, Savannah Hardin, until she collapsed and later died. We'll have a live report from FOX6 News Reporter Melanie Posey who is following this trial every step of the way.

#FreeUAB goes to Montgomery

The Free UAB movement was loud and clear in Montgomery today. Supporters of an effort to break UAB away from The University of Alabama System rallied in front of lawmakers. We'll have the full story on FOX6 News at 5.

SAE fraternity members expelled

Some members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity have been expelled from The University of Oklahoma following a racist rant caught on video. Today at 5:30 we'll hear from an African American cook who worked in the frat house and is shocked by their behavior. He's now out of job because the frat house has been shut down.

Protests of House Bill 56

More protests today from opponents of House Bill 56 which would allow probate judges in Alabama to cite personal religious reasons for denying same-sex marriage ceremonies. We'll look at the ramifications such a bill would have if passed into law on FOX6 News at 6.
