Good afternoon from the desk of Janet Hall. BRRRR!!! The big chill continues and we continue to follow it by the minute. Here's what we're working on for FOX6 News this evening.

The big chill

We will barely get above freezing today and then temps will take a nose dive overnight. We may see some snow flurries, especially north of Birmingham but we're hoping road conditions will stay try. Chilton County hospital grant

Big news for Chilton County today as Governor Bentley announces a major grant to build a hospital. The county has been without a full hospital since 2013.

Jury selection begins

Hundreds of jurors are being questioned for the trial of Joyce Garrard, the woman accused of running her granddaughter to death. We'll be following this case for you all the way to a verdict.
