HUEYTOWN, AL (WBRC) -

Police need your help to find an armed robber whose bright orange tennis shoes should make him stand out in a crowd.

Investigators in Birmingham, Hueytown and Midfield believe the same suspect has robbed Subway restaurants in their cities.

Thursday evening, the Subway in Adamsville was also robbed but Adamsville police have not said yet if this is the same suspect.

It was the Subway here on Allison Bonnett Memorial Drive that was hit around 8 p.m. on Wednesday night.

In the Hueytown case, police said the suspect enters the store acting like a customer. But once he reaches the counter, he pulls out a gun and employees work quickly to open the register.

Eventually, the robber reaches in and grabs the cash, then hastily leaves.

This person is pretty distinguishable because he's not wearing a mask or anything on his face.

He has shoulder length locks but what stand out most are his bright orange tennis shoes.

Midfield Police said a man with a similar manner hit their Subway on Monday night. They released surveillance from that crime as well.

Birmingham said the Subway in Five Points South was robbed on Tuesday night and the suspect description was the same.

Hueytown Police Chief Chuck Hagler said he hopes by showing the community this video that they can bring the suspects spree to an end.
