Small earthquake hits CA, near site of earlier 6.0 quake

(RNN) - According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.4 earthquake hit northern California early Sunday morning.

The epicenter was located five miles south-southwest of Napa, CA, the city that sustained damage from the 6.0 earthquake on Aug. 24. 

There were no initial reports of damage from this newest temblor.

The Aug. 24 was the strongest quake to hit Northern California in 25 years.
