SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN (RNN) – Sometimes a little rain can ruin a wedding and the accompanying photos, but one couple’s pictures were enhanced by a photobomb of naturally epic proportions.
Professional photographer Colleen Niska captured a tornado touching down in the distance behind a newly married couple on July 5. Niska posted the amazing photos on Facebook.
“I've dreamed about a day like this,” Niska wrote on Facebook. “Could NOT wait to post these! Pretty sure this will only happen once in a lifetime.”
Since posting the photos on her page, they have gone viral, with more than 26,000 likes and 17,000 shares on social media.
According to The Weather Network, at least two tornadoes touched down in the area, dropping rain and baseball-sized hail. No one was injured, but the tornadoes did damage buildings and knock down trees.
