A man was killed while crossing the street in Attalla on Saturday night.
It happened on Highway 77 about three miles north of Attalla.
Adam David Vaughn, 24, was struck by a 2010 Ford around 10:30 p.m. Vaughn was walking with a friend after his truck broke down. An Etowah County deputy pronounced Vaughn dead on the scene.
The driver of the Ford was a 19-year-old from Boaz. He was not injured in the collision.
Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate.
