Murfreesboro police search for someone impersonating an officer

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

Murfreesboro police are looking for a man who claimed to be a cop before shooting through an apartment door.

Police say the incident happened Thursday at University Gables apartment near the Middle Tennessee State University campus.

No one was hurt in the gunfire.

A witness told police he saw the suspect driving a late 90s model green car.
