The Troy University Board of Trustees discussed a proposed tuition increase during its meeting Friday, but did not make any decisions on an increase. The proposed increase was for four percent.
Board members will meet again at the end of the month to discuss the possibility of raising rates.
Troy University is also taking on a right-sizing strategy, having eliminated 52 positions since the beginning of 2014.
The University is also in the process of tearing down Alumni Hall and will replace it with a new dorm.
Troy is also planning to expand its Study Abroad program.
