SELMA, AL (WSFA) -

A Montgomery woman is accused of firing several shots into a dormitory on the Concordia College campus in Selma on April 25.

Ashley Deann Henley, 23, was arrested Tuesday and charged with discharging a firearm into a school building.

Concordia College Director of Public Relations Abby Campbell says shots were fired into a male dormitory.

"Our campus security immediately proceeded to contact Selma Police Department and initiated safety protocols campus-wide," Campbell said in an emailed statement. "No outside assailants made their way onto the campus, and fortunately no students were directly hit by gunfire."

One student was hit by glass and suffered minor injuries, according to the statement.

At 2 a.m. on April 25, Selma police officers made contact with one of the shooting victims who said a group of people fired shots into his room when he looked out the window. The victim and other people inside the room dove to the floor when they heard the shots. The bullet shattered the glass and hit a wall.

Police say one of the victims identified Henley as the shooter.

Police believe Henley was upset that her girlfriend was flirting with a man who lived at the location of the shooting. However, the person Henley allegedly fired at that night was the wrong man.

Henley is currently being held without bond.
