HOOVER BUSES - The buzz in Hoover is turning into the buzz across the state this morning.

We now know some of those fees parents will be paying for students to ride the bus to school starting this fall. The school board announced the fees last night. Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch will pay the least.. For the costs log onto

CARSON TINKER - April 27th is approaching and it's a day no one in this state will ever forget. But, as we discovered, despite all the death and destruction, there were also stories of hope and inspiration. One of those involved an Alabama football player and the girlfriend he lost that day. Carson Tinker has written an inspiring book about how faith and family helped him move forward. He joined us this morning with his story.

BOSTON RUNNERS -  Jack Burnette and Randy Lyle will run Monday in Boston. Randy was a half mile from the finish line when the bombs exploded.  Jack was a couple miles back but his wife was right there at the end.  She saw the whole thing.  They are all going back.  Jack is the one who said he would be willing to do a phoner the morning of.

JEH JEH LIVE - The 2014 NCAA® Women's Gymnastics Championships will consist of 12 teams and 12 all-around competitors and event specialists (all of whom are not on a qualifying team).  Semifinal team and all-around competition will be conducted in two semifinal sessions Friday.  The top three teams from each session will advance to the Super Six competition on Saturday.  The top four individuals from each session in each event (plus ties) from the semifinal team and all-around competitions will compete in the individual-event competition on Sunday.
