TWO SPRING GAMES - It's that time of year for spring football games and the schools with the two biggest fan bases in the state kick off Saturday. Mike talked to two sports writers about the games. Travis Reier is senior analyst for of the network. Reier has covered Alabama football for since 2003. Reier has covered college football for various media outlets since 1993.

Civil Rights Institute. Today they have some very special guests who have come a long way to see America.
14 ladies from Africa are traveling all over the state of Alabama spreading their message of love and how they are living in Africa. This is a once in a lifetime thing for them and coming on this trip will change their lives forever. They are traveling with Grace Point church.

CENTER POINT HIGH SCHOOL DISTRACTED DRIVERS - Center Point High School students will hear an important message today about what can happen when you're not paying attention behind the wheel. This morning Principal Van Phillips joined us along with Center Point fire Battalion Chief Gene Coleman with quite a visual to make the danger real for students. They have a car on campus that was involved in a fatal accident.

HEALTH DEPARTMENT - The Jefferson County Health Department has a big job. Inspectors work constantly to make sure things that could potentially cause health problems, don't. Dr. Corey Masuca with the health department joined us this morning to talk about some of those inspections.
