Students interested in finding out about the academic opportunities and extracurricular activities at Troy University, will have the opportunity to learn more at the university's Spring Trojan Day.
The event, which will be held on March 29 starting at 9 a.m. with a browse session in Trojan Arena, will offer prospective students, along with their parents, the opportunity to interact with representatives from the university's five colleges. The event will also introduce potential students to various campus organizations, show them the admissions process and will include a tour of the campus.
Lunch will also be provided to registered Trojan Day participants at Veterans Memorial Stadium at 1 p.m. The lunch will take place during the T-Day spring football game.
Beginning at 2 p.m., participants of Spring Trojan Day will have the opportunity to tour the university's sorority and fraternity houses, and will also be able to attend open houses at campus ministries and Honors Cottage.
"The Office of Admissions looks forward to Trojan Day each semester," said Tiffani Schmidt, director of high school and community college relations. "This event is always a great opportunity for interested high school students to visit campus, and to get a feel for what being a Troy Trojan is about."
