MOUNT JULIET, TN (WSMV) -

Police in Wilson County are looking for a man who bailed out of a stolen truck Tuesday near Wilson Central High School.

A Mt. Juliet officer spotted the truck on Interstate 40 and learned it had been stolen from Maryville.

As the officer followed the driver, the man pulled on to Highway 109, then drove off the road and jumped out.

He disappeared into a wooded area nearby.

A baseball game at Wilson Central was delayed while officers searched, but they still haven't found the man.

He is described as a middle-aged white male with a medium build, last seen wearing a light-colored button-down Hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts that were khaki or faded camouflage.

If you know the man's whereabouts, call Mt. Juliet police.
