TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Today is the deadline for the residents of a homeless camp along the Santa Cruz riverbed to move out.

The camp is on private property near North Silverbell Road and West El Camino del Cerro.

The residents were originally given 24 hours to move after the property owner reported the camp to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

The property owner decided to give them more time to move because of the amount of possessions they have.

The Sheriff's Department said it plans to meet with the property owner today to see what they want to do next.
