Roads closed in Tuscaloosa as of noon Wednesday

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Tuscaloosa mayor Walt Maddox has lifted an order declaring all roads in the city impassable, but several roads are still closed. The emergency declaration was lifted around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

City officials say the following roads are closed in Tuscaloosa:

-Toll Bridge (Joe Mallisham Parkway)

-Jug Factory Rd. off Mcfarland Blvd

-Woodland Hills Rd. @ Pelham Heights

-Queen City Ave. from Jack Warner Parkway to top of hill

-Woodland Forrest Dr. south of fire station

-25 Ave. East from Lake Tamaha to 100 block

-Longview Rd. south of Dogwood Ln.

-Kicker Rd. between 25th Ave East & 3rd St. Northeast

Tuscaloosa 311 is now open to provide assistance and answer questions about road conditions. If you need help, call 205-248-5311.

Tuscaloosa City Schools will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 29 due to the weather conditions.
