GSP daily parking lot closing for 7 weeks amidst construction

GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

As renovations continue at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, the daily parking lot will close due to ongoing construction.

Starting at midnight Monday, the parking lot will close through Feb. 28 while construction crews build a new entrance to the lot along with new sidewalks and crosswalks.

Visitors planning to park at the airport can park at any other available lot, paying the posted rate. The fifth level of both garages offer $6 daily rates as well.

Parking rates for the varying lots are as follows:

  • Garages A and B: $1 for the first hour; $1 for each additional hour; 24-hour max of $12
  • Level 5 of garages (Sky Lot): $1 for the first hour; $1 for each additional hour; 24-hour max of $6
  • Economy Lot: $4 daily rate

The parking lot construction is part of the larger multi-million dollar renovation of the airport that began in 2012.
