Fire destroys home near Wall Triana

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

The Madison County fire marshal is looking into a fire that destroyed a home late Sunday night.

The fire started around 10:15 p.m. on Oregon Drive. Firefighters said a neighbor saw smoke and flames coming from the home and called 911.

Triana volunteer firefighters and Huntsville firefighters responded to the scene. They said the house was fully involved when they arrived.

Investigators said the homeowners are out of town.
