TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -
Tuscaloosa authorities have arrested a woman believed to be a "major dealer" in the prescription drug market.
Nancy Reid, 54, was arrested after agents found 100 pill bottles filled with prescription medicine at a home in the 13000 block of Clements Road. West Alabama Narcotics agents served the search warrant around 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10 and found "a wide variety of pills" at the residence.
Authorities had been investigating Reid as suspected dealer of prescription drugs for the past six months. Reid, from Cottondale, faces one count of distribution of a controlled substance and additional charges against her are pending.
Reid is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
