Northport Fire Rescue says one person is dead and three are injured after a wreck on Highway 171 Thursday night.
Friday, family members tell FOX6 News that Michael Sartain, his wife Lisa, and their little boy were expected for dinner Thursday. Instead, Lisa's cousin arrived to tell them there had been a terrible accident.
According to state troopers, 45-year-old Lisa Sartain of Northport was killed in the crash. Sartain was a passenger in a 2005 Dodge pickup truck when it collided with a 1999 Toyota pickup truck.
The driver of the Dodge, Michael Sartain, and a child riding in the truck were injured. Jessie Hannah, the driver of the Toyota, was also injured.
The two drivers were transported by ground to DCH and the child was airlifted to be treated in Birmingham. Michael Sartain was released from the hospital and Hannah is listed in good condition.
The child is listed in fair condition at Children's of Alabama hospital in Birmingham.
