HOMEWOOD BAND IN THE ROSE BOWL PARADE - Alabama will be well represented in Pasadena, California this year. Let's just start with the 327-members of Homewood High School Patriot marching band who marched in the Tournament of Roses Parade. Band director Ron Pence joined us this morning by phone. The band has marched eight times in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and four times in the Tournament of Roses Parade.

CONSUMER TRENDS IN 2014 - Just in time for New Year's, consumers nationwide are wondering what habits and behaviors to expect in 2014. Ford releases its second annual trend report, Looking Further with Ford, revealing predictions about consumer habits and behaviors expected to shape 2014 and beyond. The report highlights 10 global consumer trends for the new year that explore how the technology explosion will affect consumer choices and behaviors.
