Police seek clues in man's death


Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are looking into how a man suffered a fatal injury and ended up laying on West 47th Street on Tuesday afternoon.

Central Precinct Patrol officers discovered Jammal Pendergraph, 20, at about 2 p.m. on the 800 block of West  47th Street. He was taken to Memorial University Medical Center where he died.

Violent Crimes detectives have interviewed witnesses and are in the process of trying to figure out how he ended up there.
