The American Red Cross is assisting a family that has been displaced by a fire Monday evening in the Bordeaux area of Nashville.
The fire was reported about 6 p.m. at Snell Drive near Panorama Drive. A passer-by first noticed the fire and called authorities.
Crews reported seeing heavy flames and smoke when they first arrived, and no injuries were reported.
A family of five, including four children, lived in the home, and the Red Cross is now helping them make other arrangements.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
