Columbus man reportedly robbed at gunpoint in alley near Benning Dr.

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A Columbus man says he was robbed at gunpoint in a wooded alleyway between Winston Rd. and Benning Dr.

Columbus Police responded to the incident around 1:42 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30.

The victim told police that a black male around 6'1"-6'2" threatened him with a gun and snatched his wallet. He also said the suspect was wearing a bomber jacket.

The case remains under investigation.
