KSLA News 12 Editorial: Nov. 18th-Coats for Kids

These are the faces of children you've helped through the KSLA News 12-Porter's Cleaners Coats for Kids Drive.

Over the years, we've teamed up with Porter's Cleaners to do what we can to make sure children in our area have a warm coat to wear this winter. You donate your used or new coats. Porter's makes sure they are cleaned and ready for another child and Goodwill Industries help to distribute the coats.

Over the past two decades, thousands of children have benefited from the program. And now, we're doing it again.

You can drop off your used or new coats at KSLA News 12 on Fairfield Avenue during normal business hours or at any Porter's Cleaners in the area. We'll make sure they get put to good use.

Thanks for the help. I'm James Smith.

State Police Supt. Col. Mike Edmonson needs to address this inexcusable behavior directly and restore the public's confidence. He should be fully transparent in his investigation into the matter and should invite an outside entity to look into the matter.

Be on the lookout for kids. They seem to dart out from everywhere. They are certainly not looking out for you; so please look out for them.
