Convicted sex offender turns himself in to US Marshals

(Toledo News Now) -

A man recently featured as our Most Wanted Wednesday suspect is now behind bars, after seeing himself on our newscast.

U.S. Marshals were trying to track down convicted sex offender, John Hayden, for parole violation.

According to the U.S. Marshals, Hayden told them he was embarrassed and knew he couldn't keep running.

Hayden was convicted of gross sexual imposition in 2010. His victim was a minor.

Anyone with information on a known fugitive's whereabouts can call the U.S. Marshals' tipline at 1-866-4-WANTED.
