Tigers football earns 2nd win

Since the turn of the century, the Memphis Tigers football team is 10-and-1 against FCS opponents.
That one loss, came last year against UT Martin, the team the Blue and Grey faced this weekend.

That game was the debut of coach Justin Fuente at Memphis.  This go-round, it ends differently, with the Tigers winning 21-6 over UT Martin.

Paxton Lynch had two touchdowns, one through the air, one on the ground in the win.
Tigers running back Brandon Hayes added 105 yards on 27 carries for Memphis, which snaps a four game losing streak.
Skyhawks running back Abou Toure became the first player to run for 100 yards on the improved Tigers defense with 113 yards on 17 carries, but the Skyhawks were held to just 286 yards of total offense.

Memphis hits the road for it's next 2 games, beginning at USF November 16th.
