Former Monroe Tornado Ricardo Lockette has joined the Seattle Seahawks active roster after signing from the practice squad Wednesday.
The Seahawks needed to add another wide receiver after losing WR Sidney Rice for the year to a torn ACL.
He will be in uniform when the team hosts Tampa Bay Sunday.
It will be Lockette's second tenure with the Seahawks. The 23 year old joined the Seahawks practice squad for a few weeks in 2012.
Lockette was on the Bears' practice squad until being cut by Chicago on October 21. He signed on with Seattle's scout team the next day.
