Dozens of new napping cots are ready for pre-K students in Birmingham.
Parker High School students and members of Birmingham's Junior League worked together Monday to assemble 144 napping cots. They will be sent to eight new pre-K classrooms that opened this fall.
Students and volunteers enjoyed the opportunity to work together. The project is part of a newly formed collaborative that brings together 50 organizations committed to quality pre-K programs throughout the Birmingham area.
