(Toledo News Now) -

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Marvin Mitchell.

Mitchell is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Lakewood Police Department for aggravated robbery. He is also wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office for escape, as well as the Adult Parole Authority for a parole violation.

It is alleged that on Aug. 27, Mitchell was in Lakewood with three other males. He attempted to rob a high school student walking home at gunpoint. When the victim refused to give him his money and cell phone, Mitchell beat him with the handgun. After the victim threw his phone to the ground, Mitchell grabbed it and fled with the other males on bicycles.

Three of the four were caught a short time later, but Mitchell still remains at large. Authorities say Mitchell was allegedly shot a few weeks ago and may be injured.

Mitchell is described as a 23-year-old black male standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 215 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police say Mitchell frequents the east side of Cleveland and East Cleveland. He is known to hang out on Euclid Avenue between Shaw and Noble. He also has a previous address near the 16000 block of Elderwood Avenue in Cleveland.

If you have any information in reference to Marvin Mitchell, contact the NOVFTF at 1-866-4WANTED or text keyword "WANTED" with the tip to TIP411. Tipsters may remain anonymous. A cash reward may be available.
