Tuscaloosa authorities say an argument between roomates led to a murder in Northport.
Investigators arrested Juan Ramirez on murder and resisting arrest charges.
Witnesses say Ramirez had been drinking when he started arguing with Felipe Flores, possibly over laughter Ramirez felt was directed towards him.
Police say Ramirez shot Flores twice with a shotgun at their residence on Watermelon Road and then fled on foot. He was taken into custody shortly after and is being held on an $81,000 bond at the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
