JEH JEH LIVE - Today from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church presents its 27th annual Labor Day Festival. For 27 years, the church has been bringing the community together with its popular festival, which is like a really big family picnic with over 10,000 of your closest relatives. Moms and dads can enjoy playing a variety of 30 games and winning prizes with their children. There will be plenty of food, including some of the best barbecue, ribs, chicken, turkey legs, and sweets you'll ever taste! The menu will also include tacos. Guests will find some extraordinary bargains in the gigantic trash-n-treasure sale and will enjoy shopping at the country store and over 50 arts-n-crafts booths, as well as bidding on numerous items in the silent auction. Also, the Coca-Cola Stage will feature some of the finest singers, dancers and musicians from the Birmingham area. Proceeds from the festival are used to support the ongoing operation of the parish and its community-oriented ministries and programs. Everyone is invited.
