Police identify victim of Birmingham's latest homicide

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Birmingham police have identified a man found shot to death in a wrecked vehicle overnight.

Police say 23-year-old Justin Kindred was fatally shot to death around 1 a.m. in the Kingston community in the 100 block of 44th Place North and 8th Avenue Alley.

Officers responded to a traffic accident, but found Kindred inside a wrecked vehicle with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

So far, police do not have any suspects in custody. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Birmingham police at 205-254-1764 or call Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
