Repairs are underway in Tuscaloosa County where part of a private road washed away during a flash flood.
Crews were working Monday to fill in a big hole on Hurricane Road, which is the only way in or out for people living at Paddington Mobile Home Park.
Dump trucks arrived at the scene and dumped gravel and rocks into the massive hole. Before Monday, crews drained a nearby pond and cleared debris from the drainage system so water under the road could flow freely.
Some residents still aren't satisfied with the improvements.
"I think if you're going to do a job, do it right the first time you won't have problems in the future," David Cole said of the work which he said was "absolutely" a patch job.
FOX6 News has made several calls to the company managing the mobile home park as well as the one overseeing the road repair, but we were told they were out of the office.
