I don't feel that all of it has been researched, but I do know that people with disabilities and people with a low income are gonna be the ones that suffer. And, when you gotta pay a deductible that gonna go up and you've gotta pay for a specialty. How they gonna do that?
Lou - regretably you don't have a clue. The only thing you got right in your editorial is that either way we go on ObamaCare; state acceptance with federal government funding or state rejection, it is going to cost us, the working taxpayer, more money.

The State of Alabama needs to make reforms to the Medicaid system. I totally agree with that; however, Gov. Bentley and the Legislator need to take a look at Seniors with Disabilities. I am a Senior with a disability and I "don't qualify for Medicaid unless I am put in a nursing home." All these young girls getting pregnant year after year to stay on Medicaid is ridiculous, while Seniors are denied. I have worked my entire life in the State of Alabama. I hear the Gov. and Legislators talking about "what can we do for our Seniors?." Well, here's your answer: Get these kids that are capable of working but have decided to make Welfare and Medicaid a life style, off Medicaid and help Seniors who NEED help.
Thank you for your interest in this week's editorial. We look forward to hearing more comments from you on future issues.
