Trial date changed for ‘Ball Cap Bandit'

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A judge changed the trial date for the man dubbed the "ball cap bandit."

Cedrick Hicks will face a jury on November 23rd. His trial was originally set to begin Monday.

Hicks is accused of robbing banks across the Tennessee Valley, including Rogersville, Huntsville and Cullman.

Federal agents arrested him in Decatur in March.

He'll remain in the Lauderdale County Detention Center until his trial. He's only facing charges for the Rogersville holdup.
