SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Firefighters expect the Soldier Basin Fire, burning near Patagonia, to get worse in the next couple of days.

The human-caused fire has burned approximately 2,000 acres and is under investigation. It is five percent contained.

Even though no buildings are threatened, the sight of the fire is making homeowners a little anxious.

It started around 11:45 p.m. Friday, the Forest Service said.

Nearly 200 firefighters have been used to battle the fire.

The Forest Service said Sunday morning it was using two helicopters, eight engines and six water tenders, among other resources.
